Nevertheless it would be nice to actually get a chance to play it sicne we europeans didn't get a chance.Yes, Square Enix holds publishing rights to Grandia III, as does Ubisoft with the original PC release in the USA. (The original PC release wasn't based on the dreamcast version, so it could be considered a different game.) Grandia III was also produced mostly by Production I.G.

And some of Game.Arts, while Game.Arts went on to make more mobile and Japanese-Only games.Grandia III on PC would be nice, but unless Square says so, it likely won't happen, due to how bad Grandia Xtreme was for them. But because of the amazing ports to PC of both Final Fantasy 13 anf 13-2, with amazing keyboard controls and resolution / FPS support. You never know. Originally posted by:As mentioned in another topic, Square-Enix holds the fate of Grandia 3. And Grandia 1 (in my opinion) should come first so that people see first hand why Grandia was considered to be a great series.Indeed. Grandia was a very great game, a little risque and awkward at some points, but really good.
While Grandia Xtreme was absolutely terrible, it had one amazing mechanic that Grandia II and Grandia III don't have, and that's cross-character skills/spells. Sure, Grandia III has cross-character aerial attacks, but it doesn't compare to what effectively is used in Tales of Xillia / 2 currently. Originally posted by:Would rather Grandia 1 honestly. I own it on Playstation but would love to play it with my Xbox controller I also played Grandia 1 on psn and liked but that game did not age well unlike Grandia III I thought G3 aged the worst out of the 3. Generic Character designs didn't work well with the art design and that clumped up hud does not work when the camera zooms in too close while in waiting phase. It worked before because you got a full view of the battlefield when you were waiting.
Originally posted by:I disagree; the character models and environments in Grandia III look much better than Grandia II (most characters in Grandia II don't even have mouths in th 3d models lol). I wasn't talking about story and characterisation; just graphics and gameplay. You might as well wait for Tales of Zestiria to come out if you're looking for graphics and gameplay. Reviews seem mixed, but since the possible bonus could be a free Tales of Symphonia when it's released 2016, doesn't hurt to have:).

I tried so hard get into that series and played four or five of them but eventually I gave up. I tried so hard get into that series and played four or five of them but eventually I gave up.It seems that the next RPG on your list would have to be on consoles. Star Ocean seems to have the most momentum right now (other than Persona 5).
I don't have a PS4, but those games may give me a reason to want one.
